The HVLP-MEwas developed for the mobile technician. Lex-Aire was aware of the problems the mobile technician was having spraying inside automobiles due to the mist and over spray. It was designed around Lex-Aire's highly highly successful Pro-Series turbine spray gun.

Mobile technicians use a small 110 volt compressor that supplies air for their touchup type spray guns. This type of gun produce a lot of mist & over spray. With this in mind, Lex-Aire introduced a Venturi-Amplifier to the Pro-Series gun which allows the mobile technician to continue using their portable compressor and spray with an 80% reduction in mist. The Venturi is a device in the handle of the spray gun that draws in room air through its side ports, and mixes with the compressed air which reduces the air consumption of the gun by 40%. This reduction in compressed air requirements means a 40% less of a chance of water & oil contamination as well. The air drawn in through the Venturi is warm clean room air, helping to heat the cold compressed air, decreasing the drying time of the materials sprayed.
Doing detail and refinishing in the interior of a automobile requires a lot of prep to prevent over-spray damage. With the HVLP-ME you are going to have such a reduction in mist or over-spray that the prep time is going to be cut considerably. This reduction in mist or over-spray also means a 50% savings in materials as well. The HVLP-ME produces a finish that is second to none and probably better than most because there won t be any mist or over-spray settling on the surface producing a rough finish.

The HVLP-ME spray gun is supplied with a 4 ounce paint cup and 1.0 mm needle & nozzle set which is perfect for the interior finishing technician. Larger needle/nozzle and paint cups are available.. Larger cups and needle/nozzle sizes are available.
